DuoType Privacy Policy

DuoType: Typewriter (“the app”) is developed by Berkay Egeli. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Summary: The app does not require an account and does not collect personal information. Everything you type stays on your device. There are no ads, no analytics, and no tracking.

1. Data stored on your device

Your pages, archive, machine style and lamp settings are stored only on your device. The app has no server and does not send what you write anywhere. We cannot access this data. It is deleted when you delete the app.

2. Exports and Photos

When you export a page as PNG, JPEG, PDF or text, or create a booklet PDF, the file is made on your device and goes only where you choose in the share sheet. If you save a page to Photos, the app asks for permission to add images to your photo library. It cannot read your existing photos.

3. Purchases

DuoType Pro purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, email, or payment details. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID settings.

4. Tracking and third parties

The app contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking tools, and it does not share data with third parties.

5. Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your rights

Because we don’t store personal information, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about your data under GDPR, KVKK, or other privacy laws, contact us.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
